Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Nereeo handles information when you use the iOS app. Nereeo is a local event-planning tool. It does not require an account and does not operate a public event, attendee, or registration backend.
Information You Provide
You may enter event names, dates, locations, budgets, tasks, guest names and statuses, invite notes, and other planning details. You may also select or capture an event photo and use voice input to create editable text. This content is used only to provide the event-planning features you request.
Local Storage
Event plans, selected or captured photos, invite notes, guest ledgers, run sheets, agreement choice, app session state, coin balance, and transaction identifiers used to prevent duplicate coin delivery are stored locally on your device. The app operator does not receive this local content.
Photos and Camera
The app uses Apple's system photo picker when you choose Photo Library. The picker gives the app access only to the items you select and does not require broad access to your photo library. Camera access is requested only after you choose Take Photo. A selected or captured image is stored with the local event plan until you remove it or delete local app data.
Microphone and Speech Recognition
Microphone and Speech Recognition access are requested only after you activate voice input for an event field. The app shows a listening state while the microphone is active, and you can stop voice input at any time. Nereeo does not save microphone recordings.
When the device supports on-device speech recognition, the app requests on-device processing. When on-device recognition is unavailable, Apple's Speech framework may send the audio you provide to Apple servers to return a transcript. The resulting text remains editable and is stored locally only if you keep it as part of an event plan. Apple's handling of this processing is governed by Apple's applicable privacy terms.
App Store Purchases
If you purchase consumable coins, Apple processes the payment. Nereeo receives transaction status and identifiers needed to verify the purchase, add coins, and prevent duplicate delivery. Coin balance and delivery records are kept locally on the device.
Analytics and Tracking
The current version does not use third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Retention and Deletion
Local information remains on the device until you remove an item, use Delete Local Data in Settings, or remove the app. Delete Local Data removes saved plans, photos, invite notes, guest ledgers, run sheets, agreement choice, session state, coin balance, and local transaction identifiers used for duplicate-delivery prevention. Return to Welcome changes only the local session state and keeps planning data.
Your Choices
Camera, Microphone, and Speech Recognition permissions can be reviewed or revoked in the iOS Settings app. You can continue to type event information without granting these permissions. You can use the system photo picker without granting broad photo-library access. You can remove an event photo or delete all local app data from within Nereeo.
Security
Nereeo uses iOS storage and platform services to support the features described in this policy. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and you are responsible for controlling access to your device.
Children's Privacy
Nereeo is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account or backend service.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
